Location: Chethams School of Music is situated the heart of Manchester city centre set within the Cathedral Gardens. Opposite Urbis and close to Victoria train station.
Description: Founded in 1653 it is the oldest public library in the English-speaking world. Open by appointment via email, post or phone: Mon to Fri 9.00-12.30 a.m. and 1.30-4.30 p.m. The Library is normally closed during bank and public holidays.
