Location: Situated in Óbuda, near the Arpad bridge. By metro line (M1) from Deak square, then transfer to the bus 106 on the station of the Arpad bridge. From the Arpad bridge (side of Buda) you can travel by bus 42 or 34 to Aquincum station.
Description: Originally a Celtic settlement, but which later became part of the Roman Empire and home to a legion of some 6,000 soldiers, the settlement was located close to what became Óbuda, part of Budapest.

Today the Aquincum Museum is a popular tourist attraction where much of the Roman remains are in tact.
