| Description: | The former church of the Medici family and one of the largest and oldest in Florence. Dating back to the 4th century, however Filippo Brunelleschi, leading renaissance architect rebuilt the church in the 15th century. Points of interest include: the Medici tombs - designed by Michelangelo; Michelangelo's staircase and Cappella dei Principi. Open 10am - 5pm Mon - Sat |
