Destination Barcelona
| Barcelona is Spain's second largest city and the capital of the province of Catalonia. Located on the mediterranean coast between the mouths of the rivers Llobregat and Beṣs. 'Barca', as it is popularly known is a fantastic city to visit. Attractions include Antonio Gaudi's, spectacular and unfinished cathedral Sagrada Familia. The Ramblas, the Old town, fabulous shops, restaurants and bars. The city has a fully integrated transport network which includes an excellent underground system as well as buses and trains. Viewed by many as the best tourist attraction in the world, Barcelona has a lot to live up to – which it succeeds in doing admirably. A “must see” city for any discerning traveller. Stroll around the streets and absorb some of the Antonio Gaudi architecture – unique to Barcelona. The city is a gastronomic delight with the local and seafood being exceptional. There is so much to do and see in Barcelona, it’s even got a beach and a water park for the kids. Wonderful city, incredible atmosphere. |  |
